Coolant change out.

This morning i went to my buddies shop. We did a complete flush of the entire system and even sucked out all moisture with some neat little toy he had there. I refilled with Rotella ELC and got 4 gallons in but I thought our system took 6. whats up?

We only used about 4.5 gallons or so when DEZLPWR flushed and filled his.

NB and I are due very soon, along with the Durango and the MH.

I've got 12g here. Don't think thats gonna be enough.

Did you add more after the thermostat opened up, or does the machine do it for you?

the block didnt drain ....some lift the rear of the truck up with a jack to get all the coolant out
