I changed my crv valve the other day because I noticed oil coming out of my turbo and the hose coming from the crv is blowing steam like smoke out of it and evidently the steam has oil in it. I thought changing the crv might fix the problems but it didn’t cut down the steam/ smoke. What is wrong with my truck or is this normal?

That "steam like smoke with oil in it" is blow-by. Its normal unless you are burning through a ton of oil (needing to add more than a quart every 1000 miles or so)

If oil is leaking from the CDR valve where it attaches to your air intake, then you do need to replace whatever seal you have on whatever turbo setup you have.
