So I have been thinking about how the tob is supposed to be positioned as far as direction and inside of or in front of the fork. does anyone have any good pics of this because my tob has been squeeling for a while and I have greased and regreased and replaced twice and it still does it so I am wondering if I have something misaligned under there.

If I remember correctly I installed the tob with the widest od side facing the pressure plate fins and the fork behind the small od side. of course this was one of those late night adventures so idk, im just frustrated with the squeel

The fork goes between the two "rims" on the back side of the bearing itself. There is a flat spot on two sides which is meant to fit between the fork fingers. Damn near impossible to get a picture of such a thing installed. :sorry:

maybe these will help to reference how I installed it. First pic is rear veiw, second is front view. I installed the bearing with the front side facing toward the pressure plate fins. I installed the fork on the back side riding on top of the black section and behind the grey section.

kinda what I was thinking but there is a squeeling that Im getting sick of coming from that area that stops when I put any pressure on the pedal and I can not figure out what it is. I replaced the tob and lubed everything real good and it was still there.

Mine doesn't squeal but it does make some rubbing noises. I'm sure that eventually it will begin to squeal though. And same as yours, any pressure on the pedal quietens it.

Haha yep. Don 't get to stephenville much, but I'll try to give you a shout next time I'm over that way.
We can compare dents and dings on the trucks. Mine should win.
