check engien and just engin light?

pulled my cluster out today and put all new 194 lights in it. some where burned out and some missing. started her up and i have a red engin light that is staying on. anyone know what that means? its on my 91. also when i go to cycle my glow pugs shouldnt me water in fule light up for a few seconds?

There is the "Check Engine" light thats for the gassers ECM, not used on diesels
The engine light comes on when there is no oil pressure or the engine tempature gets too high, it also proves out during cranking.
The water in fuel light will prove out on engine cranking also unless it's unplugged, which is the little black box on the engine by the fuel filter/therastate housing.
