I did a search last night and found some good info on draining the block of coolant but I just want to ask before I back the plug out. Is it the allen head thread insert on the back of the cylinder head's? If not please correct me.
The info I got reads that there are 2 plugs on back of block but no details other than the passenger side was behind the starter and from what I can see its that Allen head thread insert.

The block drains are under the cyl's
Above the pan, could be a reg. pipe plug or an allen.
One behind starter the other is midway across the block skirt!
Both are below the freeze plugs.

So I definitely found both plugs but I'm not going to mess with it. I'll just run water through the motor at running temp until it drains clear then do it again a few more times. And yes I am adding hot water not cold to flush it.
