We do offer just the heater itself for other applications. The heater comes with a generic install kit, brackets, clamps etc, but without the VW specific hoses so you would have to figure out and purchase the appropriate hoses yourself. Cost is $79.95 each shipped if within the U.S. I can send a PayPal Request. We currently have the flu and orders are delayed a few days though. Note we did have a chance to look at a CRD with no luck at first glance in a parking lot. As you know there are no moving parts or pump inside so location is critical to its operation.

Seems like a good deal. Only 1500 Watts though.
Check out the Kats product. THe 2k watt model is $54 thru Amazon, and the 1500w is $38. It has everything you need to pipe it in, takes about 30 mins at most start to finish.
The only downside I see to the 2k watt unit is it draws 16.5 amps, or more than a lot of typical outside outlets in most houses. The guy I talked to at Kats said the 1k and 2k watt both heat to the same temp, the 2k unit just gets you there quicker.
