What style of pump does the 3208 use? Looks like 2, 4cyl inline pumps put together in a V . Iv'e run a 3208 in a Bluebird bus once, didn't pay much attention to it at the time, but it did burn a ton of oil, left a trail of blue everywhere it went...don't remember what exactly was the issue with it or if it ever got resolved.

Only 3208 I've felt with was in an old snowcat. Overheating pile. I always figured that anything that could overheat at -40F was pretty sad. However, that doesn't mean they're all bad.

This one looks like a clean swap. Wonder how it runs and how it pulls.

^ only info I have been finding on built 3208s is from marine apps since that seems to be the only way too cool them, even that info is hard to find. I bought a ip off one to put on my 6.9, its taking usps a long time to get it too me. there site says about the middle month when it should get to me

Out of all engines to swap............ Not to be a hater but why? I have the displeasure of working on 3208's on a weekley basis, I must admit that they are all marine engines, most 375 or 435 horse versions, I have become extremely good at replacing head gaskets, injectors and cleaning out heat exchangers. ;p To easc their own and I applaude the man's dedication and work on the conversion, but I still look at it and just say "Why".

Ford used Cummins engines and Chevy ran CAT's in their 1 1/2 ton trucks... I work on them all the time
