I have a 1987 Ford E-350 Landmark. My fuel/ water seperator is leaking back. It doesn't have an " OIL FILTER TYPE " . It looks like it's CRIMPED around the top. How does a person CHANGE this or ???
Follow others advice - and replace the unit. I used a Racor R45 unit, which both fit the bolt pattern on my firewall and fit the screw pattern of the input / output lines. Aside from the brass plumbing components to screw into the unit, its plug compatible. Other people have used the R90 with some relocation, and many more used other brands. Search the archives of this forum and you will find many implementations - with photos (mine is in here somewhere). Nearly all start with a marine unit like the Racor, or its non-marine equivalent. How does a person CHANGE this or ???
Hey thank you all for the info. This being the E-350 5he air / fuel dohicky is on the frame below the gas pedal. I will be replacing it so THANK YOU ALL.
It was a 220R/225R head with an R26 series filter. I got it cheap from a junkyard IDI. I ran the R26P filter, 30 mircon (not in that pic)Thank you Cubey , So what " Raycor " unit is it ??? Your pictures helped immensely thank you
