Can I burn JP8?

My dad has a sealed 5 gallon can of JP8 from the DOD that is just going to be wasted. I know the JP8 by itself isn't good for Stanadyne DB2 pumps, but I would blend it with 10 gallons of biodiesel. Should I do it?

hey that was a cool article but why only use 7.5%? I would have used a 10% test! that way you get ride of more oil?

Well that was with JP8 and WMO from what I can tell, I think I'll try it with 10-25% and see what happens. I did some reading and it seems that most of the military failures with the DB2 or DS4 pumps were in combat situations with neat JP8 from lack of lubricity and in that hot Iraq desert, not even in our hot testing grounds in AZ. Its only 90* maybe less here so here's hoping 10-20% will do no harm
