Sorry, typo on my part. I was brain dead yesterday. I'm working on AOD for my mustang and that's what was stuck in my head.
So what I was after is this'
Between the C6 and the E4OD for our trucks, is one wider than the other?

The E4OD is wider, longer and taller than the older C6. Even the torque converter is bigger.

Internally they are very similar as far as 1st 2nd and 3rd gear are concerned. Some of the hard parts are also back wards compatable with the C6.
