Buying to sell?

I stumbled across a 1986 f350 dually crew 2wd, Rebuilt 6.9 with a low mileage non gated ats, Isspro boost, tach, and pyro gauges and a 4 speed, The body is rough but it runs great, I have never seen one run so clean, Not even the sweet smell of burning oil and the blue haze in the headlights behing you under accel. I can pick it up for $1,000. Do you think I can take the turbo off it and resell the truck to make my money back?

You sure can, go for it.

I'd do it in a heartbeat. Cosmetic body work is cheap. If you put a little time into its apearance, you could more than offset the loss of the turbo.

I'm located in Ludington MI about 100 miles north of grand rapids, I'm going over tommorrow to haggle on the price, He wanted it out of there before the first snow and we now have over 10 inches on the ground so the price may have dropped.
