hello everyone
my name is john i have been working on diesel cars since the mid 80's.
i own a couple of 80's benzes and rabbits including a 70 mpg 82 jetta.
now looking to purchase an mid 80's f250 with a 6.9 or 7.4 IDI.
will be pulling a 5,000lbs gooseneck trailer with a 2,500lbs tongue weight.
hoping to find one that already has been turboed
and has a gear vendor or like device installed.
Which of the usual weak points (problem issues) should i look for while shopping?
