Has anyone tried using 2013-2016 brakes on a 2005-2012 axle. The caliper mount was the same from 2005-2012 and the axle housing was the same from 2011-2016 so that should mean that the flange the caliper bracket bolts to is the same and the only difference is the caliper and mount itself. But I don't have any axles near me to actually test fit so if anyone could find out that would be great. Planing to swap newer axle into a 1993 f350.

From the research I have done you should be able to swap front knuckles from a 13 axle over to the older axles, the rear will need the cast plate that the ebrake shoes and caliper bracket bolt to. All 4 corners will need the 13+ calipers, caliper brackets, discs and pads.

For me the autowrecker wanted $150 a knuckle and $100 per caliper and new pads and rotors on top of that, wasn't worth the price as I had just put new calipers, pads and rotors on a year earlier.
