Hello everyone. On my 1989 F350 cab and chassis, I need to replace the brake lines upfront, and I have been looking into stainless steel kits, but I cannot find a straight answer on whether or not the cabin in chassis was in a world of its own versus a pick up frame.
On my 1990 F350 pick up, the lines are night and day difference and the little T is on the outside of the frame. On my 89 cabin chassis as you can see in this picture, it is on the inside of the frame with a massively overkill bracket with a huge bolt holding it down.
I had to reseal my oil cooler, which is a long story as to why, but I loosened the driver side motor mount jacked the engine up, but I still could not get enough clearance because of the turbo charger and downpipe and glow plug controller so I got a little rammy and the brake lines took a hit.
So again, if anyone can advise me to whether or not this is a universal design for all F350s in the 1989 year, or if this is something completely unique to cab and chassis and I will have to make my own. Thank you everyone.
