body lift

i'm going to install a 3" body lift this weekend and i only see one potential problem. would i need to do any modifications to the shift linkage? i have an automatic (column shifter) and it looks like the linkage near the firewall will come up short if the cab is raised 3".

not shure on the auto, both of mine are handshakers.
the 4x4 shifter will also need modified, along with the fan shroud.
I dropped mine and had to trim for the lower hoses.
also it seems that the fire wall will hit the back of the head on the driver side.
my 92 and 96 both did this.

I have a '99 F-250 PSD with a 3" body lift (manual tranny). I'm pretty sure you will have to do some sort of modification to your linkage.
