How many amps does the block heater on a 2K2 PSD draw?

Don't quote me on this, but, I think I remember from another site it draws 1500 to 1800 watts, or 12.5 to 15 amps. Keith

i wont sware that your spacific heater is the same but we just did research on my buddies peterbilt and it is rated at 1550 watts usage

timex sells a outdoor timer rated at 1800 watts even says engine block heaters at target 9$

The 7.3Ls have a 1000watt heater. 1000watts divided by 120volts is 8.3amps.

Did an actual amp reading on mine and it read 7.5 amps.
