I've been running a BHAF for the past two years now and loving it! Yeah, the noise in the cab went up a touch 
What I like about it is the filtration, I used to work in the hay field a lot and it did a real good job of filtering out all the dust and crap without clogging up. I "tap" clean it every oil change and buy a new one every year.
BTW, The "proper" way to clean a paper element filter is not with an air blower. Just get on a hard surface and pick the filter up about 3-4 inches and then drop it. Do this repeatedly, rotating it as you go until nothing further comes out of the pleats. You get just as much out as with blowing it out with compressed air but without the danger of blowing a hole in the filter media.
