Bed caps

As in the ones that protect the tops of the bed rails. What all are you guys running on a 80-86 series trucks. I am having a hard time finding finding any for this style. The 87-97 are different contour. O and tailgate protectors too. Perferably aluminum diamondplate

Have you checked with Dee Zee? They make a lot of accessories for these trucks, you can have your bed protectors in like 100 different varieties...

Their clear coat goes to hell in a handbasket in less than a year..I guess i could always strip the clear off

I have the aluminum bed caps and tailgate cover on mine. I'll look through the receipts to see where I got them. Here are the ones I have (no pics of the tailgate one though). I used to like to have a lot of chrome on my trucks, but aluminum is easier to maintain and can still shine up nicely. My bed caps are a little scratched up, but they work.
