Banks power pack lid

is it any better than my rusty chrome air cleaner assembly that never had the soup bowl or anything. I dont even remember what I got it off. There is a banks power pack lid on eBay right now.

No soupbowl is better than a restrictive lid that has a soupbowl.. It's just commen sense, the soupbowl is blocking alott of air flow..

I had the power pack on mine before the turbo, made a noticeable difference to me! And for reference I cut my soupbowl out of my lid, but after the banks lid it had a little better acceleration

I just bought a new K&N filter for my stock air box if I were to get the banks lid would I have to buy a new air filter?

Yes but u can get a paper filter from an early 80s 3500 chevy with a 454. make sures its the bigger one...fits the banks lid great. look up a thread of mine i have pics and paert number.

i noticved a big difference in throttle response and slighlt better mpg.
