Banks oil drain

Of course, mine leaks. I have a first generation turbo on a 7.3

Access to the grommet is pretty bad with the turbo in. Has anyone tried putting a flexible hose on the turbo drain pipe and routing it to the valve cover or something? I could just shove a plug into the existing grommet. This seems like it may be easier.

For the oil to drain properly it needs to be within 15* from straight down. You could use a billet flange to convert it to use an hose, then pull the valley pan and modify to put a bulk head in place of the grommet
