I was thinking that I could fab up something to replace the front triangle glass and then mount them to that.

Another mirror I think looks good is to use a 98-2000 or so dodge towing mirror. You have to build a plate that mounts over part of the vent window. I was thinking about doing that, but didn't think I needed another fab project on my crewcab project.

Check out this picture. I don't know who's truck it is, but I like the dodge mirrors on them. This picture came from the Rally picture thread.

Greg,

If you mean the wing windows, I've got to disagree. Since I don't have (working) AC, the wing windows provide my cooling. Here its forecast to be 104F today, cooler than yesterday. Its a dry heat though. In this climate with no humidity, AC is for wimps.

Regards,

Jimjim-i was saying that getting rid of the vent windows are a BAD idea, coolest part of the truck imo. my ac also does not work, but point the window at your face and your just as cool!

My AC works, and in south Al were the Temp is 95 and 100% humidity. If my AC brakes It will get fixed

I'll break a sweat waking the 20yrds to my car at 7 in the morning.

I often think of big truck mirrors, but they seem too big.

Powered, heated and in chrome or paint to match ;Sweet
