Does anyone know if this has SCA-2 or SCA-4?

This is a long paste. Sorry about that. However, I did search this site. I could not find “Mobil” except as it relates to Mobil oil or lubrication fluid. There have been lots of posts about antifreeze and the cavitations problem. However, I did not find Mobil. So am starting a new post.

The container does not say if it is SCA-2 or SCA-4. The dealer did not know and I could not find it on the internet. I even tried some engine manufactures web site as I wanted to find some specs. I used to be able to find manufactures specs on the web. Not this time, when I got close, the “this page is no longer available” would come up. So am turning to this web site.

The label states “Meets the performance requirements of the following specs”. It list as meeting: ASTM D-4985, Cummins 14603, Navistar B1, several others, and autos.

I found ASTM D-4985 spec. It only stated SCA as manufactured recommended. As the Mobile antifreeze came from an International repair shop, as SCA-4 was setting right beside the antifreeze (only one bottle of each as a small shelf and a small repair shop), the antifreeze contains nitrite, and is low silicate, phosphate free. I hope it contains SCA-4.

The antifreeze is reddish in color and it comes is a blue bottle. The counter man at the repair shop did tell me the antifreeze was the old green type. Maybe it is dyed red to show it has SCAs in it.

Can anyone help? Does Mobil, Heavy Duty, SCA Precharged antifreeze have SCA-2 or SCA-4?

If the answer is posted on this site, does anyone know where it is posted?
