Another Tach Question

update well didnt get to check the fipl ran out of time wanted to watch the football game. Drove the truck today after removing the tach sensor checking the wiring and cleaning it. Well drive out it was acting up and the trans started acting up also. On the way back after it started raining not sure if this has anyting to do with it but it worked fine on the way back rpms normal and shifting just fine. I do think its still not that accurate though I believe during acceleration it still goes higher than what I think the engine is runniing. So looks like a new tach sensor is on order for me, there is new ones on ebay for 70 shipped is this the normal price at the dealer?
