for starters, one fine morning I had it idling to warm up for Dr appt, they called ad canceled so went out and reached in and turnit off, Never would start after that, found if I cycled the key the wait to start would come on, well cycle it 2 or 3 times too fast and the doors will lock and unlock, well it runing now smoking lots of unburned fuel bluesh, try to use the wipers and it kills the engine we have scaned, nothing, checked fues, othig, glowplug relay, ok, even bypassed fuseable link thinking it may be not giveing full juece... thanks for the reply, will be off the computer till sat. this all has to happen as we are moving and escrow closes may 11. Just what I needed, trailer loaded with stuff and I dont need a ticket, Moving from Chino to Menifee.. 44 miles may have to rent a Uhaul I will check board for any tips when we get back Sat. Thanks again

I would say you have ground (battery negative) problems. Whatever you turn on it's trying to find a ground. Clean the neg. cable's to engine ground.

Pull the cables off the battery and backside of the alternator. Look for internal corrosion and failure inside the wires. I had the wire completely fall off the alternator wire terminal but of course didn't find it until I had bought a new alternator.
