Adjusting wastegate?

I keep hearing about how people have adjusted the wastegate on the 092 and now that I finnally got a boost gauge on this thing Im only making 6psi (k gauge shows 3 but it starts at -3) and it takes a little while to get there, I will admit I was just power braking it in the driveway but I was hoping for more then that for sure (and it hits the 6psi basiclly the same time it hits the stall point in the torque converter ~2krpm)

Long story short how do you adjust the wastegate? Is it normal to gradually gain boost or should it be quicker? (and should I then be looking for a boost leak)

Just "power brakeing in the driveway wont tell you the reall boost. You need to find a hill and with a load on the truck like pulling a trailer drive the hill flat out full throttle. Watch the pyro and don't allow it to pass 1100 degrees. Then see what the boost is. Loaded and boost low with low pyro temps of about 800 means you can turn up the fuel a flat or two.

on the rod,,that pulls the wastegate, there are two dimples locking the inner and outer rod together,,so it "couldnt" be adjusted...take a small carbide bit,,and just drill down,,till you hit the inner rod..unscrew the two,,clean the inner and outer threads with die and tap,,then put back together,,and adjust.. as per what he told you,,load it,then check your boost level..took me, two tries to get it at 12 psi...
