So are drop brackets a must with add a leafs?

Not a "Must"...depends on the lift. Stock ride height only puts about one and a half inches between the bump stop and the springs. My add-a-leafs brought me back to stock ride height. You can go a little higher than stock and use the adjustable camber bushing and be ok. Once you go past 2ish inches above stock ride height then your probably gonna start needing drop brackets. Don't quote me on that last part though.

I bought and installed a 1.5" add a leaf last April. I'm not 100% sure which one it was, though.

It was about $150 for the add a leaf kit and about $150 for Les Schwab to align it. It took about six hours for me to install (first time). Well worth the time and effort, in my book. I went from having the raked look to having a truck that sits almost perfectly level. Also, the ride quality improved after I installed the kit. ;Sweet It was a win-win situation.

I bought my truck with the TTB Front end, and it already had 2" Superlift Addaleafs installed, no drop brackets were needed. Of course now I am running a Dana 60 but I had no alignment issues before the swap

Oh that's not my truck, mine has stock suspension all around, with some big rubber type air bags in the back.

That pic is a 1991 F250 Diesel, and the leafs are nice and straight.

Heres a side pic:

I've seen it, driven it many times, the 2 button ones look like the stock F250 ones, but I guess since theres 2 add-a-leaf on them, they went straight?

Or they've been re-bent. I don't know.
