Ac Works on High

My air conditioner only seems to throw out air when on High only, if you put it on any other setting there is barely any cold air coming out but as soon as it hits high its blasting.

Check the resistor strip, it's mounted under the blower motor on the evap. box. Should be a good sized plug and a couple screws.

Pull it out and look at it, chances are theres an element or two burnt off.

Might want to check out the blower switch and it's connector while you're at it.

mine does the same thing i just keep it on high in the summer but its purty annoying in the winter haha

yes your blower motor resister is shot ,its only allowing full voltage to got to the motor instead of reducing it for a lower speed

Do I need the manual or or automatic temp controller resistor?

Do you have "levers" to control the HVAC, or do you tell it what temperature you want and it takes care of it for you?

Levers = manual
Temp = automatic
