i'm not going to say much, since I posted this in the wrong spot. Suffice it to say that as soon as I e-mailed this crook last night to tell him to cancel the order (after waiting 17 days for a reply) he went ahead and charged my card before I had a chance to get to the bank today and cancel it. He's in for a fight...and I WILL win it.

I appreciate that! To be honest, I absolutely HATE automatics. I've driven everything from motorcycles to sports cars to big rigs, and I prefer to shift gears when I want to shift gears!!! Unfortunately, this old beast came with the E40D, so I'm kinda stuck with it. I've stated before that I'm not a mechanic, so swapping out an auto for a stick is WAY outside the realm of my expertise! Actually, it sounds like a major PITA on a $1K beater truck. I just want it to run so I have a spare in case anything else breaks down, or if I need to pull something REALLY HEAVY!!!

Perks of paying with a credit card, can dispute nearly anything and get your money back.
PayPal is usually pretty good about it also.

Agreed. Definitely my bad, but I've had 100% success in the past using a debit card online. I hate to use credit unless I have to, just because of the interest rates! My bank is amazing, though, and I'm sure we'll get it reversed. Couldn't ask for better customer service from them. If this ****** actually ships, I'll send it back. I should have known that a "remanufactured" solenoid pack with a 5-year warranty was too good to be true...we live and learn.

all i use are credit cards (rewards ones only) and iv never payed 1 penny in interest.you don't wait for a bill.just wait a day or two for it to come out of pending and then pay it off.you don't need to wait for the $ to go to statement.even if you do though,pay the total statement amount and you wont pay any interest either.
