if i remember correctly, the aih is an emissions thing to help prevent the smoke associated with starting a cold engine.

also notice the complete kits are out there to convert it to the larger turbo but with a better turbo. I saw one that I believe was a d66 anyone have an opinion on a better or worse conversion kit?
