OLDBULL8
Good Morning Ya'll.
A month or so ago I had the right front inner wheel bearing (Timken) replaced by what was supposed to be a reputable service in Fargo SD. I didn't get the old part so I don't know what the bearing number is. Now I have some slop, very little, in the drivers side. All I can find is the complete hub assembly. 99 F350 4X4 duall wheel drive 4-wheel ABS Mfg.date 03/22/99, this one is listed for $567, the Mfg. date before 03/21/99 is listed for $316. Calling a Ford dealer they have to know the serial number on the engine. Don't have that yet, I know it's stamped between the oil cooler and flywheel.
Does anyone know the Timken bearing number before I tear it down?
It will have to be an LMxxxxxxx# for the cone and cup.
