I have a 96 F-350 swb could I do a zf6 swap from an E4OD? And if anyone has done this how hard is it to do?

It can be done. Basically need a donor truck with all the mechanical pieces.

Ok thanks I know it's a newer tranny and was wondering if it would button up to my 96 f350

Correct. There were slight changes from the obs to SD trucks, but it will work.
Also have to add the trans fluid cooler and lines.

I recall reading the ZF6 is taller and needs the floor pan sliced and peeled back and a bit. Otherwise should bolt up I think.
