Ok here it is guys

1# 93 CC F350 long bed with 7.3 turbo banks side winder and 02 intake pipe Manual tranny 3" lift 35 in tires and she lets that smoke run out like the cummins. NOt sure of the miles or if its 4x4 I assume it is, its a guys cousin's rig that he thinks he might want to sell. I am going to call and find out, in the mean time ok guys give me your input, I might look at these both Sunday and possibly find me my next truck to replace my ole girl.
OK GOT MORE INFO ON THE IDI HERE U GO """""ILL CALL THE GUY TO SEE HOW MUCH HE WANTS FOR IT" WHATS A FAIR PRICE FOR THIS TRUCK???

"yeah its a 4x4 mileage wise i thnk its a like 235,000 but his engine was redone before he got it also so he was told....wether or not the guy he bought it from was lieing i dont knw...good runnin truck...hes got a new master cylinder to put on it...i think it might need glow plugs unless you plug your trucks in at night"....

2# 97 F350 CC long bed 4x4 with 220k miles no mods and not sure if the tranny was rebuilt guy thinks it might have been. Normal dings and dents got to have $5500 power everything needs tires, use to be a Texas truck the guys does not drive it and put like 12k miles in the last two years.

Ok which one is the best to get? If I were going to need a truck to head out west and possibly tow a car home and not worry if it would make it or have problems?

well... I owned a 93 IDI Banks side winder auto. It had 4.10 gears. It did everything I asked of it. But it was 2wd and a supercab. I wanted 4x4 and a CC. so...

My 97 is a CC 4x4 with 3.55 gears. auto.

Now in stock form my IDI out towed my PSD(Seat of the pants feel) I contribute that to the higher compression/lower boost levels, and the 4.10's
Now with all of the mods in my sig. on the PSD it now tows the way my IDI did. It makes about 150 more hp than the idi did.

I'm now looking for a new tranny to handle the added power of the PSD. :dunno

Unless it's a Centurion, or been converted afterwards, that CC LB does not have 4x4.

ok guy is asking 5grand no less, and it does leak oil leaves a pool on the top of the intake but he has not really checked it out. He has new glow plugs and new relay for it and has another set of rims and tires 32" that go wtih the truck. HMM sounds to me like the PSD is sounding better. OH yea white with red interior with power everything but the Cruise does not work. SOUND TOOOO high to me..........he will not budge on price.

Ford actually did build the F350 CC in 4x4, but only in SRW. Somebody (maybe Towcat) had a great quote on this a while ago that was something like:
4x4
Crewcab
Dually

Pick 2 but you can't have all 3.

I'd go for the powerstroke. Better price plus 4x4, to bad it doesn't have the 5 speed.

i don't think it was me, but there's nothing stopping me from grabbing a front axle off a dually commercial chassis and sliding a genuine dually rear axle under it's butt. then I *can* have all three;p:D;Sweet

i don't understand how the OBS powderchoke gang can stand their trucks in stock form.....anemic isn't even close to the lack of performance description.
I had a company '97 f450 that was my favorite truck due to the fact noone else could stand it. yea, it had a turbo....it didn't come alive until 2500rpm and was flat dead below that. you had to drive it like you wanted to beat the crap out of it or it wouldn't do a thing.cookoo

my buddies old 96 was like that, nothing until around 2500, then you could feel the turbo kick in. if you do get the psd, you might as well plan on replacing the fuel bowl heater and keeping a spare cps on hand....
