91 7.3 idi low miles, starting issues/ other ?'s

never mind, since i drove it to the parts store, i forgot to think bout the engine being hot.

well its coooled down and it cycles for about 5 seconds ish, let it cyle again and it starts right off, it kinda sputters on the first try.

Replace glow plugs and ill be good to go.

Just to clarify, the white wire is actually what the controller gives ground to to complete the circuit to engage the solenoid. The wire at the opposite terminal atop the solenoid from where the white wire hooks is actually power from ignition. The white wire would read hot though.

Sounds like it dosen't matter, but it may save you a problem.
