I'll have you know that's the finest mahogany plywood! Nothing but the best for my ugly truck, especially if it enhances the ugly.

When it comes to trucks, ugly is a matter of opinion. My opinion has always been that I could give 2 ***** less what it looks like, as long as it's mechanically sound.

That was definitely my wife when we first got together. At the time I was driving a dark blue 84 k10 with the paint peeling to red primer, and the 84 f150 that I still drive which has more surface rust than paint.

She was always tell me that I needed to sell my death traps and get something newer, I still have both of mine. She went through 4 stupid expensive newer ones before I finally got her convinced to get something a little older.

I don't really sell vehicles, I do occasionally trade for something I like better. Most of mine are worth more to me as parts that I can get selling it anyway.

That's for loading my sled in and out, among other things. I broke down and washed the miserable old heap last week... sure made them rust spots stand out real nice though. I'll also be welding in a spare tire mount so's that wheel doesn't launch through somebody's rumpus-room winder someday.

I'll say it over and over: she's my baby.

She sure looks nice after a spring rinse... Probably need to throw in a set of o-rings in the return thingies and replace a cracked windshield but, she pulled a raised jeep full of kiddies from the bush this past winter. Damned fine truck.
