I just replaced my injectors with Stanadyne E code injectors because I was having problems with my Delphi BB's (I did not want the E codes but that's what I got can't really do anything about it now) my problem is in both sets of the injectors I've run my truck idles super rough, not your typical slight shaking I'm talking my steering wheel and keys are shaking along with the whole cab, I'm stumped I've got no idea what's wrong and why it started to do this, desperately need the help because I can't figure it out

Have you checked motor mounts? I'm more privy to inline sixers, which don't really care about broken mounts since they self balance via firing order, but bent 8's dislike broken mounts.

What does the engine sound like? Normal idle but shaking everything? Or sound more like a fast "chucka-chucka" versus a "clickity-clack"?

Loosen the fuel line flare nut at each injector, just enough to relieve some pressure and stop the injector from firing, one at a time while the engine is running. Watch for one or more that doesn't cause a drop in RPM's and increased roughness.

Sounds like way too much advance on the timing. I do not hear a cylinder misfiring nor do I see that from the engine shake either. Have you ever timed the engine? If not do it or have it done. Check the timing registry for someone close to you.

you have a fouled spark plug!

engine runs ok but your tail pipe does not correspond

i would check the timing like Gary said.

also we would get a better idea if we heard some R's

i would add 12V+ to the advance solenoid and see if it changes, something quick and easy to see what happens.

Indeed sounds like a miss. Now makes me wonder what mine has been doing on rare occasion on startup with violent shuttering. Always shutdown and get started normally right after.

Sorry wasn't getting emails that my thread was being posted on.

Icanfixall - I have not had my timing checked and the registry doesn't have any one even close to me that could do it (Florida, Pinellas County) and I loosened every line while the truck was running and all of them made a difference in the engine.

IdIoit - by R's I'm assuming you mean RPMs? I can get a another video going of it under a load what rpm range do you want to hear?
