*SOLD*

7x precups pulled from a 7.3 IDI. They all have cracks to some degree. Not sure if these are good to use or not. Make an offer and they're yours.

Anyone know why the "88" stamp on located on either side of the precups.:dunno Also what does this 88 stand for???

only 2 look usable from this pic.

The 88 denotes the larger cc, 20.4 , 7.3 cups , introduced in 1988.

6.9 precups have a volume of 18.3 cc

Thanks for the 88 info but.... You knew there was going to be a but.. Please tell me why the 88 os on either side at the top of the cups. Have another look and see its on one or the other side???

I was curious about that too. Each head had the 88 on both sides of the cup so not like an obvious different batch/date or orientation thing.

So are these worth anything to anyone or should I chuck them in the scrap pile?

My buddy who does CAD design for molds said they probably "mirrored" the mold drawing and it swapped the 88 to the other side
