7.3 idi turbo swap

I am going to look at a 1992 f250 7.3 idi wanting to know if you can take a turbo off of a newer 7.3l and swap it onto the idi motor

Do you mean a "Factory Turbo" from a 93 or 94 IDI, or a turbo from a 7.3, or 6.0 PSD?

One already on an IDI is a bolt on type of deal.

One from a 7.3 PSD or later, depends on your fabrication/patience level......
