Well the other night me a couple friends were driving through town and some idiot thought he could beat me in a race.....he was wrong but the truck i drive is no race truck being a 92 crew cab long bed that weighs 10000 lbs. So we got to thinking and were gona make a twin turb 7.3 with hx35 turbos hood stacked and performance injectors. Hopefully it will run in the 11s or 12s will include updates on the truck.

I didnt think it was a good idea to mix propane and methanol....

If your talking about the truck in the sig weighing 10,000 pounds, is there a flatbed or a Tommy Lift on it or somethin?? If not, the truck doesnt weigh 10,000 lbs, 8 at the most. Mine is 7200 bumpers and such...

No reason to rub the cummins guys ego's. Go all out aftermarket with some custom ball bearing turbo's. A couple years ago I had a friend that was running twin Garrett B52 turbo's on a big block ford. Garrett didn't name them B52's for nothing. These are two of the largest turbo's I've seen on a car. Ball bearing center cartridges made them sound like a couple jet engines spooling down after the car was shut off. Took them like 2 minutes to completely stop turning.

Personally, I wouldn't start with a crew cab and a long bed for a race truck. But that is just me.

To add to that, if you were keeping it on the street, the four wheel drive wouldn't really be necessary either.

4wd is for launches on the drag strip, just remember that your going to be stuck with 4.10, they don't make 3.55 for Dana axels, at least not that I've found.

Before someone brings up the IDI 4x4s with 3.55 let me mention that the front is actully 3.54 it dosent matter in the dirt but your transfer case will hate you for using it on pavement.

Who says? I've seen an F350 4x4 with 3.55's. It was a gasser, I think a 96 or 97.

both fords and the dodge in my yard have them. 3.55's in the form of two TTB 50's, one 10.25, one dana 70 rear, one dana 80 rear and one dana 60 front.

The difference between 3.54 and 3.55 wouldn't make a bit of difference.there is that much difference in your tires from one to the next.

Don't get me wrong I like my 7.3 IDI so far but a race truck with one? That will be one extremely polished ****... LOL

It can be done, but you need deep pockets and custom, one-off parts. You're looking at tens of thousands of dollars and a short life span for that very expensive motor.
