Someone gave me a new set of GP's for a 7.3 and they are the bullet style connectors. Is there a way I can hook these up to my spade connectors?

you will have to change the wiring, and you will also probably want to bypass your controller and go manual...I swapped the zd9's (7.3 beru plugs) into mine and promptly toasted them with the controller giving them a full 10 sec

First question is what brand did you get for free? Autolite? Champion? I installed my autolites into the nearest trash can 2 nights ago. I put ZD9's in my truck. 86 6.9 but someone had replaced the harness and controller with the 7.3 harness and controller. If I were you and you are going to install them, go ot the local salvage yard and get a 7.3L harness and controller and install them onto the 6.9.

Hey, there nothing wrong with selling them as long as you put one of those surgeon generals warnings with them...
WARNING: use of this product as intended has been known to cause massive fusturation, elevated blood pressure, cussing, swearing, bloody knuckles, and in certian cases the need to disassemble your entire motor.

c'mon mel....watch a drug ad on tv...they can cure your arthritis pain, but it may reuslt in blindness, disorientation, or death...whats the big deal

I changed all eight of them earlier and none were stuck. I broke one of the spade tips putting one on. The old ones have been there for atleast 10 years. I know some of yall dont agree with this but I put the same brand back in, champions. Maybe it has something to do with it not getting as cold down here that they came out so easy. Many people down here (old timers) have run those since they have owned their trucks with no problems.
