What filter do you run in it?
PS there is a much more rigid but still flexible dryer hose that has much less depth between pleats, would give less turbulent airflow and resist collapsing about 10x as much as most other dryer hose. It's actually aluminum between the steel ribs, so can't melt or catch fire either. For anyone that wants to maximize their redneck engineering.
