40/20/40 cup holder/cubbie removal?

Anyone know how to take the cup holder/cubbie hole apart? Loose change floating around in it.Thanks. Russ

You talking about the fold down type?

I just remove the rubber strip that is SUPPOSED to stop that from happening and usually can see the offending dimes and nickles then just fish them out with some tweezers or hemostats.
Never really had to dissamble to get the loose change out.

Geo which rubber strip? Are you talking about the cover that goes over the cup holders?

:sorry: about that :D

The rubber strip I'm referring to covers the hinge point of the compartment lid, not the tambour style cover of the cup holders.

Haven't had the need to remove that cover as mine is allways open.

That is where I get problems opening the lid due to change that gets stuck in the hinge.

I got it. The trim around the top comes off(plastic clips hold it on inside. I got it loose enough to get to the change. A whole $.87. But no more rattles

remove complete front seat assembly, bring to greensburg, swap for bench seat from my truck. gauranteed no more lost change LOL
found a left hand head light to day, gotta look in the shed for the right hand one, I know I gots one or 2.
