The title sums it up. Looking at a 05, SLT, 4x4, SB, Auto, 6 seater, with less than 100k mi.

As "********" does not translate I'll be more clear. Looking for opinions and comments from 05 owners.

Thanks in advance.

My buddy has an 06 2500 (6spd) and he likes it. A colleague had an 04/05 (I forget); he retired and moved away.

The turbo changed every few years. As far as stock, the one to have is the H351CW. There's a year wrinkle for tuning when it comes exhaust brakes.

There may be more knowledgeable guys over at cumminsforum.

I'm sure you made a decision by now, but as an '03 owner the auto trans are super weak and the MTBF seems to be around 100k or less. As for the engine, if left stock she's a beast and very reliable. As for everything else, keep up on the preventative maintenance repairs or she'll eat you alive.
