hello everyone. Im working on a friends 2003 chev blazer 4x4. When you put the unit into 4H or 4L (push button style on dash) the truck starts to make a bad clicking noise. Forward or rev. We lifted the truck up onto jack stands and tried to turn all the wheels and drive lines by hand but couldnt simulate the noise. When driving the noise seems to get worse when turning the wheels.....anyone have any ideas or maybe ran into this before?cookoo

thanks pete

My guess would be that one or more of the four
CV joints is noisy. Replace them in pairs. You won't
be able to hear them while it's up on stands. There
is no load on them while it's hanging in the air.
