Bought this as a backup work/pulling truck in 2009 from the original owner. It has no rust other than some surface rust on the frame, pictured below. The truck started having sending unit issues a year and a half ago that meant it started getting used less, then about 10 months ago it started having an electrical issue that would cause it to shut off unexpectedly. We weren’t using the truck much so it unfortunately got parked while I worked on more critical projects.

Fast forward to about a month ago I pulled it out of storage in the back of the shop and got back to getting it road worthy, here’s what I have done so far:

-Both tanks dropped and boiled out (gas had gone bad)
-New pumps and sending units
-New fuel filter
-New fuel pressure regulator
-Feed and return lines cleared out
-New MAF
-New ECM from Ford
-New 850cca battery
-New air filter
-New cap rotor, plugs and wires
-New all aluminum champion radiator
-New upper and lower radiator hoses
-New motorcraft thermostat
-New O2 sensor
-Four new Toyo open country 275/65/r16 tires, less than 50 miles on them
-Changed coolant, engine oil, trans fluid and dif fluid
-Repaired a few vacuum line leaks
-Repaired ac leak, evacuated system and filled with r134. Blows ice cold
-New windshield wipers
-Buffed/polished/waxed

The truck runs great and looks beautiful. It is a 7.5l, zf5, with 4.10s.

Everything works on the truck except for the the seat tilt on the drivers side seat, the cable is broken but I have another seat that could go with the truck. The only issue I have encounted since the truck has been running again is that cold starting the truck on the rear tank when it is below 1/8th tank you need to cycle the key a few times to prime the fuel system. Doesn’t seem to do it on the front tank.

The truck has a ranch hand front bumper that I stripped and had powder coated gloss black. It has a ranch hand headache rack with brake/signal lights, bright reverse lights and custom bed rails, also powder coated gloss black. It also has a new RKI tool box. It is setup with a a gooseneck hitch in the bed with connectors for 5 pin or 6 pin trailer wiring connector. The factory cat has been deleted, and the muffler replaced with a 40 series flowmaster and dual exhaust. It is a bit louder than stock but not much.

The stereo has been replaced with an Alpine head unit with Bluetooth and a remote microphone for phone calls. Can’t remember if the front speakers were replaced as well, but it does sound good.

The rear bumper and tailgate were damaged when disconnecting a gooseneck, pictured below. I have a tailgate with complete trim and a rear bumper that will go with the truck. I also have another champion rad that will go with it too.

$4700
