I am having another issue. Ever since I replaced the belt and alt I am getting a funny chirp. When my tranny shifts it also chirps and my power steering pump freezes a little. Any ideas? 299k maybe it's some for a new tensioner.

Well sounds like the power steering is slipping.
Any chance the belt you got is a hair longer?

Also I would pull the belt and spin the vacuum pump by hand. See if it makes any noise.
Could well be the tensioner.

I am redoing the seats. Sorry about the photos but it was half assed before. I will get some photos of it once I start working on that project again. Right now I am focused on my toys.

I"d strongly suggest new idler and tensioner to go with new belt, if there is any signs of wear or sloppiness and the tensioner can't keep up. Get a OEM one as they seem to last longest.

So far looking good.

Ok, it's time to fix this A/C system. Can I rebuild this? Where can I get a new compressor?

Most any auto parts stores carry reman compressors. Should do an orfice tube and an accumulator while you are at it. Did the comp eat itself? If there is metal inside you should backflush the system as well with A/C flush you can get at the auto parts store as well. If only the clutch is only bad on the comp and it worked before you can get the clutch assembly only from NAPA or CarQuest for significantly less than the cost of a new comp, and you don't have to break the system open. What exactly are the symptoms the A/C system is having?

Ok, I finally had some time to mess with the AC. Fan motor blows but nothing else happens. I checked all the fuses and everything is good. Somewhere I heard the clutch won't engage if it's low on freon. My system is out. How can I tell if it's been converted to R-134A ?
