Great weekend. I hauled my Kawasaki Teryx out to the desert for the UTVUnderground Desert Rally and the radiator worked great. It never even got close to running hot. I am very happy with my Champion Radiator.

Great looking truck! I'm not the biggest fan of flatbeds, but you did awesome on yours. I was against putting one on my truck but I might have to rethink that once I buy a SxS. Glad to hear good things on the radiator, one of my upcoming plans as well.

Thanks for all the kind words. I am looking to add a pair of 6 volt golf car batteries under the bed to run all the accessories when I am parked at a pit. I am trying to figure out how to wire them. Does anyone have any ideas?

Are you intending to wire them together to get 12V? If so you need to wire the batteries in series. If you've ever seen under the hood of the military 6.2L Chevrolet pickups or blazers, they are wired this way to use two 12V batteries to run a 24V system. I you wire from the frame or chassis ground to the negative battery terminal of battery one then from the positive terminal of battery one to the negative terminal of battery two and from the positive terminal of battery two to your accessories. If you wire this way you should have 12V at the positive terminal of battery two.

I chase desert races and sometimes warm places to sleep are hard to come by. I came with an idea. I wanted to fold the front seat down to the back seat and make a bed. It took some work but I made it work.

Nice.
Really can idle it long as you want, but you may want to wire up the high idle to try to prevent "wet stacking."

Basically don't make enough heat at idle to prevent glazing the cylinders, as I understand it.

I order some latches from RealWorkTrucks.com. I will start building the storage bins on my truck this weekend. I just need to build a SHEETMETAL brake.
