Went and looked at the truck, it wasn't too bad. The body had 274K on it, fairly solid, ran good had a extra set of tires. Its needs alot of TLC, some electrical gremlins, 1 rear door doesn't open, leaking return lines, leaking radiator, leaking TC or maybe front trans seal. But overall not too bad.
Why I am not going to buy it...
I told him I wanted to hear it cold and it was warmed up when I got there.
No paper work for the suposed new engine and trans
I dont think the motor was rebuilt, the block was all crusty and rusty, the heads were clean and painted black, I think it had just a top end overhaul and he is trying to pawn it off as a rebuild.
He is pretty firm on getting 5K for it.
