1968 Mercurey Pickup,..?

First time I have seen one of these,...

I've seen one before. Not too common. Until i saw it, I never knew mercury made a pickup.

i'm suprised our neighbors up north hasn't chimed in yet. Mercury Trucks was a Ford Canada product.

I always wondered why Ford didn't do that? Chevy and GMC did? Why not have a Merc F350? They could have alot of bling on them.

As was said above, the pickups in Canada were sold as Mercury.

We're relatively close to the border, so I see them around now and again.

I think if Ford was going to launch a blinged version of the Super Duty, it would be under Lincoln, not Mercury. Take the Mark LT for example, which they now sell. It's the F150 with a new grille and some fancy options.

I agree, they would lauch a blinged Super Duty as a Lincoln instead of a Mercury.

Theres a bunch of rent-trailers on my road; one of the current renters drives an old faded 1971 Mercury pick-up.

I have seen several over the years; for some reason or other, all seem to have been some shade of red; I have never seen any other color.

Mercury pick up

Until about 1976 Canadian fords were called mercurys (some cars and all pick ups)

Negative, we had both brands, 1968 was the last year for Merc trucks. Chrysler did the same thing here, we until 1972 had Dodge, sold by Dodge-DeSoto dealers, and Fargo, sold by Chrysler-Plymouth dealers...
I want a 68 M250 4x4 with either a hot IDI, or a built BBF....
