12V questions

Hey guys,
I have a question regarding only the 1997 and 1998 Dodge's with the 12V. I know the 12V is not computer controlled, but isn't there a computer that monitors oil temp, coolant temp, etc? If anyone here has a 97 or 98 with the manual tranny, could you please tell me if there is an OBD-II style test port under the dash. I'm just curious and it has to do with a possible future Cummins swap for one of my trucks.

there is no OBDII port.


simple swap...all you need is one hot wire to the fuel shutoff and yer in biz

oil pressure sending, coolant sending and stuff like that simple too....no puter involved
