07 Just Quit Running

I work for a government agency that spends a lot of time off pavement in trucks. On Friday one of my co-workers was driving his truck and all of a sudden it just stopped running. The truck will crank no problem but it seems like it's not getting fuel. The truck is an 07 with about 36k miles on it. I checked the fuses and swapped relays because I couldn't hear the lift pump, but everything was in order... Is there a fuel cutoff somewhere that could have been tripped, or are there common problems like this?

There isn't a fuel cutoff inertia switch, pull the output line to the pump and check for fuel flow.
